| Tennis tryouts weren't exactly so great...
I had to try out for a tennis team in bellevue... Robinswood Tennis Club Varsity team.... It didn't go so well because their skill level was about maybe 3x higher than mine... And i was the youngest... so that made me feel a bit uncomfortable... i could do spin volleys, slice overheads, my serves were all right... But my basic groundstrokes were soft... And these guys were like maybe.... 50 - 70 MPH ground strokes at least... Sooooo i guess i have to work on groundstrokes a BIT. And i realized that i play better when i'm in a game situation... probably because i concentrate more and it's a win/lose situation. One of the coaches seemed really nice, but he likes to make people work a lot. 50 times to the net from the base line as fast as you can... so after that i felt pretty tired... but we didn't get any rest... 10 laps around all 4 courts.... O_O that made me tired. so now i have to go to team 2 try-outs... which will probably be a BIT easier...

| Why's it sooo freaking hot....
Ok so i wanted to play tennis..... but then it was too hot... so i only played for like 30 min...... anyways i can do a slice overhead now.... lols it's pretty cool.... Except for if i mess up..... i completely miss the ball....... X_X but it was so hot i was too lazy to practice... so i took like 4 ice cold showers..... when i stepped out of the bathroom it was like entering a sauna....... O_O ANYWAYS i wanna go to antartica. They should invent an ice tennis court... there's cement, clay, and grass but no ice! Ice would be totally slippery so every1 would try their best to stay up! It would be intense!!! Ice tennis court would be coolio. XD |
